As a company, we take our customer’s feedback very seriously. So seriously indeed that we recently based the design of our new bar mirror fitting upon feedback we received.

The idea was conceived by a classic motorcycle enthusiast who contacted us with a design which he recalled was used some years prior for securing bicycle handlebars. Our current design, based on an original Stadium clamp mechanism, had sometimes proven less than ideal, especially as handlebars can vary in size. Also, there had been occasions where, having removed the mirror, it was not always as secure when replaced.

So, based upon the scaled hand-drawn design which they thought would be suitable, our R&D section produced technical drawings and manufactured a prototype which proved to be as effective as our enthusiast had suggested. We then produced 50 units, all of which were positively reported on by our customers, and entered full-production of the fitting.

During the trials we decided to also make an extension piece which can be added to the new design and offers a wider field of vision when in a place. Another addition is that we can offer customers whose motorcycle handlebars are of a non-standard diameter a tailor-made fitting utilising this design.
