    Beautiful, comfortable goggles

I chose these as I ride a vintage motorbike and am an historic aviation and history fan too and they look and feel special to wear out riding and I feel proud to be wearing such beautifully made pieces. They’re slightly less expensive and not in the complete presentation box as some of the other versions but as I bought them to wear I felt happier with this version. On a downside, all the Halcyon range are difficult to change lenses if you want to fit tinted versions for the day and some of the stitching could be neater and tidier as whilst this add to the handmade character some greater attention to detail would finish them a bit neater. Overall, I’d highly recommend them!

    great product, great service,

I have a pair of mark 49 goggles which I like very much with tinted lenses but I wanted another set of goggles for riding at night or cloudy days, so I ordered the mark 8 battle or Britain goggles with laminated glass lenses, the clarity of lenses is great, these goggles seem fit my face just a little bit better, the padding is exceptional. I ride my motorcycle almost every day. I love these goggles they don’t fog up, and they are exceptionally comfortable. I ordered these goggles directly thru halcyon, I made a mistake when ordering , I emailed customer service and received a response almost immediately, the customer service is exceptional. I live in the U.S. and I received these goggles in a very timely manner. The goggles are great. The company is pleasure to deal with. I will definitely recommend the goggles to my friends. I thank you for a good product and good service. I ride a triumph tiger and a Indian chief vintage motorcycle.

    Dark steampunky adventures

Very comfy goggles to wear,, the inner cream coloured bit is made of very soft leather.
Good visibility- the lenses are bent 2/3 of the way along and the last 1/3 extends further round to the side than cheaper versions. So there’s enough peripheral vision to pick up pedestrians walking out into the road like chickens.
I think there’s a very slight yellow tint to the lenses, it’s almost imperceptible, (to cut out UV rays?)- but it’s so slight the goggles can still be worn at night.
    Very cool item.

For max effect you need a motorbike too: Get a black one, (anything will do ,an old secondhand 2 -stroke MZ ) a CBT and a “piss-pot” lid and you’ll have a dark aesthetic quicker (around town) on 2 wheels. and about 1/25000 th cheaper than a Rolls Royce Wraith Black Badge.

SOO cool and still very practical.

Great on my vintage bike or in my vintage car.

    Fantastic goggles for motorcycling

I wear a full face helmet that does not come with an integrated shield, so I’ve become accustomed to using a pair of goggles when riding. I’ve tried Baruffaldi Speed 4s, 100% Barstows, and neither of them had the same level of comfort as these goggles. I purchased these initially due to my obsession with all things WWI and II, so it was more of an aesthetic choice for me. However, I was astonished to find that these goggles do not fog up when I ride, which was a major issue with my previous pairs. There may be a day when they do, but they haven’t thus far, and I’ve tested them in very frigid weather.

I’ve become a quick fan of these goggles, and will definitely get another pair in the future!
