Combining quality with classic style, Halcyon’s Mark 49 antique goggles use hand-polished brass frames to give the impression of a quality vintage product which looks perfect alongside a classic motorcycle or when perched on top of a motorbike helmet. The frames are coated with clear lacquer and hand-stitched to a soft black leather facemask. The nose bridge screw is also made from brass and allows the size of the goggle to be finely adjusted.
The goggles come with UV-protected scratch-resistant polycarbonate lenses. Each lens is housed in an independent frame which can be easily removed from the goggles to allow replacements to be fitted. Optional upgrades are available, such as laminated glass, which is very popular for aviation purposes, or tinted lenses, which are useful in sunny conditions. The glass lenses can also be taken to your local opticians to have prescription lenses bonded to the inner surface.
The headband now also comes fitted with triple silicon, elasticated non-slip strips for the perfect grip when worn over an open-face crash helmet.

Shiny Brass!
This is my second pair of goggles i’ve purchased from Halcyon, my first pair were the MK 9 Deluxe chrome frame model. I was really pleased with that product, so i wanted to buy another for Christmas for my Dad. I actually got in contact with halcyon to get more information about the brass frames and they could do the frames with out the high polish for those who like brass to age gracefully which i thought was cool, i personally prefer the high polished finish. Anyway i’ve inspected them and i’m really happy with it! Wrapped it up now readyfor Christmas

Have had multiple pairs of Halcyon goggles over the years, always with a chrome frame. These polished brass frames are something special, bought a pair for myself and my brother, both of us have Triumph motorcycles.
Spare parts availability is a real bonus.
