Description
Made from long hair sheep nappa processed to a thickness of approximately point eight of a millimetre then dyed with natural colours this leather is soft and smooth , ideal for the manufacturing of headwear garments.
Made to the desired pattern ten pieces of leather are punched out on our hydraulic press along with the hand cut contrasting coloured anti static cotton lining panels.
A flatbed sewing machine is used to make up the leather head panels and the cotton lining which are then sewn together as one garment.
Air holes are punched through the side sections and a securing press stud put in plus metal eyelets around the air holes and the last press studs are added
The air cover flaps ,the chin strap and goggle elastic strap loop are made up separately with the press studs and strap buckle attached
The ear cover flaps and the chin strap are sewn to the outside of the head panels and the strap loop sewn to back head panel.
A final check is made to the ensure alignment of all the press stud fittings.
