Royal Air Force Reconnaissance Duties

Formulated in 1936. Coastal Command became the Maritime Arm of the RAF, although given a role that was none too clear at that time.

Their duties included Aerial reconnaissance: Air and sea rescue.
Weather reconnaissance and Commercial: Sea-Policing.
